You cannot contract HIV or AIDS from a mosquito bite. Mosquitoes can transmit certain diseases, but HIV is not one of them. HIV does not reproduce inside mosquitoes, and a biting mosquito injects its own saliva rather than blood taken from a previous person.
AIDS is the most advanced stage of untreated HIV infection. Because mosquitoes do not transmit HIV, they also cannot cause someone to contract AIDS.
